The Reiter Family Foundation
Our Story
Welcome to our foundation. As a family, we are committed to living with open hands and investing in the essential pillars of our communities which continue to fill in systemic gaps for our local friends and neighbors.
We are a young foundation, concentrated in Colorado, focusing our support on housing, food security, education/youth, and environment/conservation. We are passionate about forging lasting partnerships with organizations doing meaningful work, where we can truly see the day-to-day impact of our giving, as well as helping to foster connections in the philanthropic and non-profit spheres.
We hope you’ll join us on our mission as we strive to create a brighter future for all. Together, we can make a difference that ripples across generations.
Our Pillars
Housing: We invest in housing initiatives because we know having a safe place to call home is essential to human flourishing and also recognize there are many societal, circumstantial, and historical barriers that make accessing housing very difficult for many local populations. Especially in Colorado, where the cost of living is often prohibitive, we want to be part of meaningful and lasting solutions.
Food Security: Coupled with housing, food is a baseline human need, which is why we believe in working to help break down and eliminate barriers of food access in our local communities.
Education: We believe that education is a cornerstone to every community, and with significant funding demands and an ever-changing educational landscape, it is getting more and more difficult each day for educators to meet the needs of their students. We want to come alongside public education systems, programming, and educators themselves to help them best serve their student populations in 2026 and beyond.
Environment/Conservation: With our family roots in this beautiful state, we want to support the protection and conservation of our Colorado’s lands and waterways as well as help to cut down on the pollution that threatens the health and longevity of our planet as a whole.
